2020 Annual General Meeting - COVID-19 update
As previously advised in the Notice of Annual General Meeting 2020, The Annual General Meeting ('AGM') of The SimplyBiz Group plc will be held on Monday 27th April 2020 at 12:00 noon.
Due to the ongoing government "stay at home measures" which include a prevention of public gatherings of more than two people we need to make some changes to the way we will hold the AGM this year.
The AGM will now be run as a closed meeting and shareholders will not be able to attend in person. Shareholders attempting to attend the AGM will not be permitted entry. We hope that you understand that we are taking these steps to protect our shareholders, employees and the Board.
We have made appropriate arrangements such that the legal requirements to hold the meeting will be satisfied.
The date, time, location and the business to be conducted remain as set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting 2020 which is available on the Group's website: www.simplybizgroup.co.uk.
Shareholders are strongly encouraged to vote by proxy on the resolutions contained in the AGM Notice. For full details on how to register a vote by proxy, please see the Notice of Annual General Meeting 2020.
Proxy votes will be announced via an RNS and placed on our website as soon as practicable after the conclusion of the AGM.
The Board believes that the resolutions contained in the AGM Notice continue to be in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders as a whole and recommends that shareholders vote in favour of them.
